Was it real or was I dreaming?

I sat on the leaf of an apple tree
rocked by gentle wind

So alone in the entire universe
and at the same time I’m feeling
so whole

I watched stars
glittering in the night sky
smiling gently

Isn’t it beautiful to have
the same opportunity
to watch the same stars?!

I painted imaginary lines
with my eyes trying to connect
one star to another

Wondering which one is
maybe mine or yours?

My brain was trying to measure
distance
when there was no distance
in my heart

Time,
made night to go deeper and darker
Eternity of quietness penetrated me
Completely

And I knew I’m at home
everywhere I go....
with you or
all by myself
