Sometimes we meet
certain people
in just one glance...

Sometimes a look
into somebody’s eyes
for a second
or two
cause enough courage
to approach them
and leave
a number or a short note
or just a nice word

Sometimes one sentence
stays with us for some time

And then
distance
make the person
physically gone
for an unknown time
or forever

All that remains is
a hope to see them again
and at the very least
we will always have a
one glance moment
beautiful enough
to remember
for a lifetime
